at the close of the men’s collections in milan, looking up while strolling around the city’s quadrilatero della moda it seemed like we could have been in naples; except the ‘laundry’ dangling between the elegant palazzi on the chic cobblestone via della spiga is part of the second annual festival internazionale della luce, a special LED display throughout the historical center.
over the weekend, we had the opportunity to check out one of the newer chic outlet venues in italy – fidenza village, a charming shopping center located very close to parma. afterwards, it’s also worth making a stop at this quaint town (widely known as the home to the famous blue box barilla pasta) even if you only take a stroll through the historical center before enjoying a wonderful meal. i recommend tortelli di zucca – something americans would define as ravioli, stuffed with luscious pumpkin and mixed with soft cheese, among other ingredients – simply amazing!! enjoy!!
